Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to receive my order?
Order times vary due to numerous reasons including the different pieces that
you order, the area of the country you are located in, and of course, the type
of shipping that is selected. From
the time that we receive your order, it normally takes about 10-14 days to
print and ship your stationery. There
are certain printers who have a rush order option for a nominal fee that can
guarantee turnaround in 48 hours. Combined
with overnight shipping, the rush order is a more expensive, but certainly
very fast option. Please let us know which type of item you are
considering and we would be happy to help you determine the fastest, most cost
effective option that suits your needs.
Can you send me a catalog?
We do not offer catalogs since most of
our products can be viewed online at our Internet
Invitations Web site.
We offer fine stationery and invitations from Checkerboard, NRN
Designs, Encore Studios and Stacy Claire Boyd at prices below traditional
retail stores! If there is a
particular invitation that you are interested in, we would be happy to send a
sample if we have one in-house or we can request one from the manufacturer.
Please let us know if there is a particular line you are interested in
or if we can help you find a particular item.
Can you send me a sample?
All of our printers are happy to send a sample or two upon
customer request. We recommend that you narrow your search to one or two
items before selecting a sample to ensure that the sample you receive is
either the item you are considering ordering or a very similar item. Simply
e-mail us at customerservice@internetinvitations.com
with your address and the product number of the item(s) you are interested in
seeing.
How far in advance do I need to
order? This is oftentimes determined by
several factors. Perhaps the most concrete deadline being the final
count requirement for the caterer or reception location. We recommend
that your responses be due back one week in advance of this catering
deadline. In order to allow for mailing and response time, we recommend
mailing invitations 4-6 weeks in advance of that response date (depending on
the number of out of town guests that are being invited). Printing and
delivery takes on average 2 weeks. Therefore, it
is safest to start the ordering process at least 3 months in advance.
Remember, however, to leave yourself time in advance of that 3 month window to
select your invitation. As you can imagine, we have done orders in a
much shorter time window that what we have recommended above, and we are here
to help if you are running short of time or feeling pinched. Contact us
today to start the process.
What is the difference between an
Informal and an Informal Response Set? Both of
these terms are traditional stationery terms. Informals
are simply Thank You Notes. The Informal Response Set is the RSVP card
and matching response envelope that your guests use to mail back to you to
indicate if they will be attending your event.
What are Envelope Backflaps? Again,
a traditional stationery term. Envelope backflaps
are selected on the order form when you would like to have your return address
printed on the backflap of the envelope. Note, there is an
additional cost for printed return addresses. The price is listed in the
pricing table below the item image under Invitation or Informal Backflaps.
Is the printing on the response set
envelope included in the price of the response set? Yes.
Are envelopes included in the price
of the invitation or Do envelopes come with the invitation? Yes.
If you would like your return address printed on the backflap of the
envelope or if you would like the envelopes to be lined there will be
additional charges (see the pricing table for your item). But if you simply
want blank envelopes, you will receive matching blank envelopes with the
invitations at no additional charge.
How can I view the different
typestyles that are available? The answer
varies by printer. In general, we recommend that you browse the
site to see the different typestyles that are available for a particular
printer. Some of the printers offer fewer fonts and we are in the
process of adding those to the site where they could be viewed in one central
location. Others, however, have hundreds of fonts which makes it
unproductive for you as the customer to try to load a page with that many
fonts. Therefore, if you do not like the font on the sample invitation,
we recommend that you either browse the area of the site that your invitation
is located or you can e-mail us at customerservice@internetinvitations.com
for recommendations if you are looking for something in particular or would
like our input.
How can I view the different ink
colors that are available? Again, the
answer varies by printer. We are in the process of adding links
to the site that will enable you to view the ink colors for some of our
printers. Another great way to see what an ink looks like is to browse
the site. If there is a particular ink color that you are interested in
seeing on a sample you can simply e-mail us and we would be happy to send you
back a link with a couple of samples. As always, we are also here to

What if I am not happy with my
invitations or what I ordered? Our number
one goal is a satisfied customer. We work closely with you
throughout the ordering process to ensure that you are not only satisfied with
your items but that you are very happy. Thus, we will send samples,
provide proofs at reasonable prices and work with you prior to printing to
ensure your satisfaction with your custom printed order. Obviously,
because your item is custom printed we are unable to accept returns or provide
refunds, but if there is an error on your order that varies from what you
approved or you are not happy with, we will work in conjunction with the
printer to make sure you receive an item you are happy with and that fills
your original needs.
What is your privacy policy? Will
you sell my information to other companies or marketing firms? We
do not currently sell or provide to third parties any customer information for
the purposes of marketing or contact. We use the information you
provide about yourself to respond to your inquiries about our products and
services, to process your order, to send you news and updates about our
offerings, and to provide you with opportunities to purchase other products or
services from Internetinvitations.com that we believe may be of interest to
you. We will disclose personally identifiable information in response to legal
process or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. We
use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect to improve the
design and content of our site and to enable us to personalize your Internet
experience. We also may use this information in the aggregate to analyze site
usage, as well as to offer you products or services.
